did you even read what I wrote? What you described looks like the main game is the JRPG and the second game is a town building, resources management, which should be part of the main game, that's why I'm asking if they divided the game in two parts, so we have to buy both parts to have the complete experience. Many people were hoping the game would be out in 2021 but it appears that COVID and other complications have pushed that back too. It's only there so that we wouldn't have to wait 2.5-3 years since initial KickStarter funding closed. You'll also be able to load save data and import into a Hundred Heroes like you used to with the early Suikoden entries, but you can easily get by without playing Rising at all. It's a bite size game at a fraction of the price (US$7 during KickStarter) and will be spearheaded by 505 Games as opposed to entirely built by Rabbit and Bear, but they will colab to make the game connected with a Hundred Heroes. If you want to play a full game from the creators of Suikoden then that's the one you want to buy and play.Įiyuden Chronicles: Rising is a "companion" game which will be built to tide fans over in the coming year until we wait for the Hundred Heroes full release. Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes is the game KickStarted by Rabbit and Bear and the spiritual successor to the Suikoden series.
